Dave brings a futuristic, strategic point-of-view to his role as CEO and Visionary of GTN. He is always looking at the broader implications of firm and client decisions so each move is purposeful and driving GTN forward.

Accounting was not Dave's first career choice. Initially, he earned a degree in law enforcement and then served as an officer in the US Army. After his time in the service, his skill for numbers and his entrepreneurial drive led him back to school. He earned a master's degree in business taxation and joined KPMG, where he served in their international executive services area.

This entrepreneurial drive took over in 2000 when Dave founded Hemisphere Tax Services in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a boutique firm that focused exclusively on expatriate and foreign national tax preparation and consulting. That firm combined forces with and re-branded as Global Tax Network in 2002, and Dave became President in 2008. His passion has been to develop an organization that provides exceptional mobility tax services and consulting ever since.

Dave received his undergraduate degree from Mankato State University and his Master of Business Taxation from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.

When not at the office, Dave enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and staying active.
